Who we are
A small immigration practice that files UK travel authorisations for people who would rather not do it alone — and says so when they should.
UK ETA Gateway is a private, independent service operated by AvalVisa Immigration Services Inc.. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the UK Home Office, UK Visas and Immigration, or any UK Government department. You may apply for an Electronic Travel Authorisation yourself, directly through the official GOV.UK service or the official UK ETA app, for the Home Office fee of £20 alone. Our fee of £29 is charged for the optional checking, translation and support service described in our Terms of Service, and is in addition to the official fee, which we pay to the Home Office on your behalf.
What we actually sell
Not access. Anyone can reach the official ETA service, and it is not hard to use if you read English comfortably and your history is uncomplicated. What we sell is the checking: a caseworker who reads your answers against your passport, who knows which suitability answers trigger a manual review, and who will tell you to stop and apply for a visitor visa instead when that is the truth.
Why we are explicit about not being the government
Because a great many sites in this market are not. They copy the crown, the typeface and the colours, bury the fee, and let travellers believe they are on an official page. Regulators in the UK and the EU have pursued those operators, and rightly. We would rather lose the customers who only clicked because they thought we were GOV.UK.
Arabic is not an afterthought here
The official service is English-only. For a family in Riyadh or Kuwait City, the hard part of an ETA is rarely the passport number — it is a suitability question about spent convictions phrased in legal English. We take those answers in Arabic, from a caseworker who speaks it, and render them accurately in the form.
